The Yaesu FTX-1 Field is a compact and powerful multi-mode transceiver built for versatile portable operation. This "Field Head" unit provides stand-alone operation across HF through V/UHF bands in all modes: SSB, CW, AM, FM, and C4FM digital.
Supplied with a high-capacity SBR-52LI 6400mAh Li-ion battery, the FTX-1 Field delivers 6W (5W QRP) of output power, offering approximately 9 hours of operation on HF (SSB) and 8 hours on V/UHF (FM) with a 6-6-48 duty cycle. The SBR-52LI battery can be conveniently recharged using a third-party USB Type-C PD cable (45W or greater/ 15V 2A).
For increased power in the field, the FTX-1 Field can also be operated with an external 13.8V DC power supply (via the included DC Power Cable with 2p-round plug), providing up to 10W of output. When using an external DC power supply, the FTX-1 Field also automatically charges the SBR-52LI battery.
The FTX-1 Field features continuous wide-range receiver coverage from 30kHz to 174MHz and 400MHz to 470MHz, ideal for SWL, FM broadcast, and Air-band listening. It also comes with the SSM-75E Hand Microphone for convenient voice communication.
Useful Features for HF through UHF:
MAG (Memory Auto Grouping): Automatically groups memory channels by band for easy recall. The M-GRP (My Group) allows custom grouping of any desired memory channels.
QMB (Quick Memory Bank): Stores frequency, mode, and settings of the current receiving signal for one-touch recall of up to 10 channels.
PMG (Primary Memory Group) for VHF/UHF: Register up to 5 PMG channels for quick monitoring with AUTO scan (simultaneous reception of up to two active channels) and MANUAL scan options. Ideal for monitoring club member frequencies.
AMS (Automatic Mode Select) for VHF/UHF: Automatically detects and selects between C4FM digital and FM modes.
Memory Channel Scope for HF/VHF/UHF: Displays the reception status of up to 43 memory channels with a bar graph for easy selection.

Excellent Proximity Two-Signal Characteristics: Achieved through a powerful RF Front-End design with a 10-divided BPF in amateur bands and a low NF RF amplifier with excellent intermodulation characteristics. A high-purity 110.592MHz oscillator ensures a high-quality sampling clock signal for the A/D converter.
SDR Circuit Configuration: Adopts the same high-resolution A/D converter and FPGA used in the FTDX10 for excellent fundamental receiving performance.
Effective QRM Rejection: Features a 32-bit High-Speed DSP with SHIFT/ WIDTH/ NOTCH/ CONTOUR/ APF/ DNR/ NB.
